Refund / Withdrawal Policy
This policy explains how refund, cancellation, and withdrawal requests are handled for digital services purchased through Momentory.
Momentory is a self-serve digital software service for creating QR-based event galleries and collecting guest photo and video uploads.
1. General Principle
Momentory provides digital services that may be activated after purchase. Refund and withdrawal requests are reviewed based on applicable consumer law, the purchase method, the activation status of the paid service, and the extent of use.
2. Payments
Payments for Momentory may be processed by our payment provider. Depending on the payment method and checkout used, our payment provider may handle payment processing, invoices, taxes, refunds, and related transaction support.
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method through the relevant payment infrastructure.
3. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days, depending on their location and applicable law.
However, where access to the paid digital service begins before the end of the withdrawal period with the customer's express consent, or where the customer starts using or benefiting from the paid service, the right of withdrawal may be limited or lost under applicable law.
4. Free Setup Before Purchase
Creating an account, creating an event, preparing an event gallery, or generating a QR code may be available before payment. These setup actions alone do not necessarily mean that the paid digital service has started.
5. Requests Before Paid Service Use
If you have purchased a paid package but have not yet received any guest photo or video uploads through the paid event gallery, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
6. Requests After Paid Service Use
Once the paid event gallery starts receiving guest photo or video uploads, the paid digital service is considered to have started.
After guest uploads have been received, refund requests may be limited and will be reviewed based on the extent of use, the presence of any technical issues, and any mandatory consumer rights that may apply.
A change of mind alone may not entitle you to a refund after the paid digital service has started.
7. Technical Issues
If a serious technical issue attributable to Momentory prevents you from using the paid service, we will first try to resolve the issue.
If the issue cannot be reasonably resolved, a refund or another appropriate remedy may be considered.
8. How to Submit a Request
To request a refund or withdrawal, contact us at [email protected] with:
- the email address used for the order;
- your order ID, if available;
- a short explanation of the request.
We or our payment provider may ask for additional information to review and process the request.
9. Refund Method
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible.
Processing times may depend on the payment provider, payment method, card issuer, bank, and applicable payment infrastructure.
10. Important Note
This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under your local law.
The applicable checkout terms, consumer disclosures, paid service status, and applicable law should be considered together.
